Calcined α-Alumina is a product made from aluminum oxide (Al2O3) after high-temperature calcination. It has excellent chemical stability and mechanical properties and is widely used in refractory materials, ceramics,
abrasivesand catalysts.
Performance of Calcined α-Alumina
1.1 High temperature resistance
The refractory property of calcined alumina can reach over 2000℃, which is suitable for use in high temperature kilns and other high temperature environments.
It has good thermal stability and is not easy to decompose or melt at high temperatures.
1.2 Mechanical properties
High hardness: Mohs hardness is 9, second only to diamond and silicon carbide, and is an important raw material for making abrasives and polishing materials.

It has high insulation and low dielectric constant, and is suitable for use as electronic devices and insulating ceramics.
