Fused magnesia is a type of refractory material that is produced by the electric arc melting of caustic calcined magnesia, dead burned magnesia or raw magnesite in furnaces at temperatures in

Performance of Fused magnesia:
High purity: The MgO content is generally above 96%-99%. High purity reduces the adverse effects of impurities on the performance of refractory materials.
High density: The crystal structure after melting is dense and the porosity is low, which enhances the compressive strength and wear resistance of the material.
High melting point: The melting point can reach above 2800°C, which is suitable for industrial kilns in extremely high temperature environments.
Excellent thermal shock resistance: It can withstand frequent high and low temperature changes, has good thermal shock stability, and is not easy to crack or peel off.
Chemical erosion resistance: It has strong resistance to erosion by acidic and alkaline slags, and is particularly suitable for high alkalinity environments in the metallurgical industry.
High thermal conductivity: It has good thermal conductivity in high temperature environments, which helps to evenly disperse heat and reduce the risk of local overheating.

Fused Magnesia is a common fused magnesia. Compared with Large Crystal Fused Magnesia, its crystal particles are relatively smaller and its corrosion resistance is slightly lower, but it still has
good overall performance. Large Crystal products are more suitable for use under harsh conditions.
