Magnesia-alumina Spinel Brick
Magnesia-alumina Spinel Brick are made of high-quality magnesia sand and low-calcium industrial alumina powder as the main raw materials, and are formed by high pressure, and high temperature firing. They are resistant to quenching and rapid heating, and have good corrosion resistance to solvents such as iron oxide and alkaline slag. When the temperature fluctuates, the expansion and contraction of magnesia-alumina spinel bricks are relatively uniform. What is more, the resistance of magnesia-aluminum spinel bricks to alkali slag and iron oxide slag is stronger than that of magnesia bricks.

In the course of the use of clinker with the reaction, the brick surface forms a thin layer of calcium aluminate protective layer, so that the liquid is not easy to penetrate.
2. Good anti-peeling performance
Magnesium aluminum spinel brick is better than the direct combination magnesia-chrome brick at anti-peeling performance. The life of the cooling zone and the transition zone of the kiln can be directly combined with magnesia-chrome brick. However, the corrosion resistance is slightly inferior to the direct combination magnesia-chrome brick.

Magnesia Alumina Spinel Brick Properties:
This magnesium-aluminum spinel brick fired at 1750℃ has a very low porosity (less than 9%) and a volume density of 3.22-3.23g/cm3.
The volume density of the porosity of 12-17% is 2.9-3.1g/cm3. The direct bonding rate between high melting point grains in the refractory brick is very high,
so the strength at room temperature and high temperature is very high, the load softening temperature is 1700-1750℃, and the creep resistance is also very strong.
This kind of refractory brick has a strong ability to resist the penetration of silicates and iron-containing slag, and is not easy to form a thick metamorphic layer,
especially when the brick contains a small volume of 8-25μm pores.
At the same time, it also has excellent resistance to direct erosion by molten slag.
